hi joyce, this is a good idea. i just hope no one reads it.. in case i unknowingly say some stupid/heretical things.

anyways, the intro was a great primer. it makes so much more sense that the Bible is one great story, with lots of illustrations of its point. instead of a bunch of random, moral stories.

also, after reading "Girl Meets God", i realized how important it is to know our OT. lauren winner must have a much richer understanding of NT because of how well she understood (and lived by) the old tradition. whereas we understand (or think we do?) the NT in a vacuum, without examining its prelude and what it matured from. errr am i allowed to say matured?
